The Mia Lara artisan jewelry collection is designed by Mia Lara Nathanson, a designer who views personal adornment as a quintessential form of expression. Designing since she was a young girl, Mia began her start in jewelry business by setting up roadside stands in her hometown with her beaded jewelry and homemade cookies. After attending Columbia University and receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology, Mia went on to work in the Fashion and Finance Industries. During her five years in the corporate world, Mia worked arduously to realize her dream of founding a company by devoting all her spare time to her creative vision and selling her jewelry at local New York Markets on weekends. Shortly after, she dove further into her business to make it a full-time endeavor, traveling to India where she spent time cultivating design concepts and sourcing stones. The inception of each design in her Mia Lara collection springs from a spontaneous gravitation toward a stone, allowing the process to organically evolve from a visual feast on natural splendor.

OKTOBERFEST AT MOONDANCE JEWELRY GALLERY IN SANTA MONICA

Oktoberfest is the world's largest fair held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It is a 16-day festival running from late September to the first weekend in October with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year. To the locals, it is not called Oktoberfest, but "die Wies'n", after the colloquial name of the fairgrounds (Theresienwiese) themselves. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810. Other cities across the world also holdOktoberfest celebrations, modeled after the original Munich event!

It is through her collective experience and love of design and fashion that she started Kitsch out of her tiny apartment.  In just a few short years, Kitsch has ballooned to becoming a leading accessories manufacturer with products including, hair ties, headbands, charmy rings, cute necklaces, funky earrings and other cute accessories.  Kitsch produces timeless accessories with vibrant colors and unique textures that can match any occasion.  Wear our pieces alone or stack, layer and collect.  Great as a gift for the friend you love.  You can never have enough Kitsch in your life.

 When they first met in 2008, Noa Sade and Vanessa Lee felt an instant connection.  From their positive outlook on life, strong core values, love of travel, and of course, passion for jewelry and fashion, the two bonded over their commonalities and quickly became the best of friends.

Noa, originally from Israel, comes from a family of artists.  Self-taught, Noa thrives on the creativity of design.  Vanessa, China born but raised in NYC, is a former fashion buyer with deep roots in the industry.  Together, the two make the perfect team.

In September of 2009, Lionette was born with the vision of creating  a brand and a collection that was both glamorous and unique, that would stand out in the industry and be the perfect accessory for any occasion, day or night.  The dream was to work together as best friends and business partners, doing what they each loved most.
