 When they first met in 2008, Noa Sade and Vanessa Lee felt an instant connection.  From their positive outlook on life, strong core values, love of travel, and of course, passion for jewelry and fashion, the two bonded over their commonalities and quickly became the best of friends.

Noa, originally from Israel, comes from a family of artists.  Self-taught, Noa thrives on the creativity of design.  Vanessa, China born but raised in NYC, is a former fashion buyer with deep roots in the industry.  Together, the two make the perfect team.

In September of 2009, Lionette was born with the vision of creating  a brand and a collection that was both glamorous and unique, that would stand out in the industry and be the perfect accessory for any occasion, day or night.  The dream was to work together as best friends and business partners, doing what they each loved most.

Inspired by colors seen throughout their travels, these two girls from Paris decided to take some Brazilian fabulousness back with them to Paris. She was forced to slow down and assess what was important in life. Designing jewelry allowed her to be home with her family. She gradually spent more and more time making jewelry from her hillside home alongside her two beautiful daughters. She became the best kept secret in Los Angeles as her uncanny knack for fashion and her keen eye for detail lead her into the creation of gorgeous necklaces, earrings and bracelets resulting eventually in the establishment of Blue Candy Jewelry.

Lisa’s travels have allowed her to establish strong personal relationships with gem dealers all over the world enabling her to hand-select gems to use in her collections. Her passion for life comes out in these pieces – which are truly made as a labor of love. BCJ believes strongly in striving for one’s best in everything you do – and that includes what you wear. The belief is that we are all blank canvases waiting for a bit of color – which these collections definitely offer.
